Someone with a minimum of Part II qualification in architecture or someone registered as an Architect in the UK. This role requires the ability to plan, organise and deliver on undergraduate architecture courses, ensuring that the content is current and relevant to the context of architecture. The role requires an ability to utilise a range of different teaching, learning and assessment processes to ensure that students receive high-quality and constructive feedback. You will help to enhance the department&#39;s offering and work closely with other key members of the team to support the on-going successes of the department.</p><p>You will contribute to development of the department and teach across different levels of the courses within our portfolio. You will work with colleagues in the department to help shape the curriculum, lead on modules and generate partnerships with external organisations to enhance opportunities to learn with industry. The role will also require active engagement with outreach and recruitment activities.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Specific skills or qualifications</strong></p><p>Educational background in Architecture or a relevant discipline with, as a minimum, a good degree at undergraduate level and postgraduate level (Part II), obtained at a UK accredited and validated school or from an internationally validated course.</p><p>A sustained record of teaching on an architectural course in the UK, with strong evidence of teaching students within a design studio setting. We&#39;re champions of creativity and collaboration, dedicated to giving our learners the specialist skills and opportunities they need for outstanding careers in digital media and design.</p><p>In the Department of Architecture our courses are structured around a response to climate and ecological emergency through community engagement, social impact and cross-collaboration in creative economies.</p><p><strong>The Roles</strong></p><p>At Ravensbourne are seeking sessional academics to deliver and support courses within our Department of Architecture.</p><p><strong>The Candidates</strong></p><p>We looking for professionals and academics who have experience across design, technology, theory, context and skills modules to balance the learning experience of students on our courses: Architecture, Interior Design Environment Architectures and Urban Landscape Architecture.</p><p>Candidates will combine professional experience, academic knowledge, and a strong understanding of current industry practice; you will bring dynamism to inspire our students; and experience to facilitate a high-quality learning environment. &nbsp;</p><p>The academics will have the knowledge, industry contacts and vision to support the academic team in developing new opportunities in the discipline.</p><p><strong>Roles are available on a sessional basis. &nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Join us in September 2026</strong></p><p>We are reviewing applications as they are submitted, and we will get in touch with applicants who are shortlisted. &nbsp;</p><p><br></p>
