The Role

Ravensbourne’s internationally renowned BA Fashion course has a strong heritage and reputation for producing highly employable graduates with a distinctive personal design identity equipped with excellent technical and future proof skills. The British Fashion Council has recognised our graduate work, selecting our class of 2021 to present the final collections at London Fashion Week. 

We are looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic, and adaptable individual who will provide support and assistance within the Fashion Department. To support the use of hardware and software and provide learning materials, skills training, and technical support to students and academic course teams across the institution.

You will work closely with our students and staff preparing and delivering specialist workshops, providing support to enhance learning, and providing training and instructions covering Cinema 4D, Substance Painter, Clo3D, Unreal engine, AR projects and relevant workflows.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of creation of 3D environments, prototyping technologies, 3D product outcomes and working knowledge of Unreal for fashion, with a relevant graduate degree/equivalent qualification or substantial industry experience in the area of Digital Fashion and is able to demonstrate their knowledge and high-level technical competence within fashion Art Direction and Digital design

They will be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of learning and teaching methods and the challenges in a higher education environment. Experience in teaching and learning within an HE role is also desirable.

Finally, they will possess excellent organisational and communication skills and can engage and motivate students directly with their discipline. The candidate will hold the talent to work autonomously in a self-disciplined manner, collaborate efficiently with the team, demonstrate a high standard of customer care and be highly proactive.

Please note that shortlisted candidates will be required to attend a practical test on-site as part of the interview process.
