We are looking to appoint at Course Leader / Associate Professor level
Following significant investment by the university in the learning environment and the student experience, we are seeking to make further appointments to enhance our portfolio and to help drive our ambitious programme of strategic change. We are now seeking a Course Leader for the MBA Fashion Business & Entrepreneurship programme to join this growing area of our university.
The role
Ravensbourne University London is seeking to recruit a dynamic, creative and innovative educator to lead the new MBA Fashion Business and Entrepreneurship programme to be launched in January 2024. The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for the MBA course and develop and contribute to the teaching delivery of modules in this and related courses. Our fashion focussed MBA programme puts strategy, innovation and collaboration at the forefront of business and equips students with core operational management skills combined with leadership acumen needed to ultimately excel within the competitive fashion business arena, this will support and enhance the students’ journey into the next stage of their creative careers.
The candidate
You will combine professional experience, academic rigour, and a strong understanding of current industry practice to create an excellent, inclusive learning environment for our students. The leader we are seeking will be highly motivated with extensive professional knowledge and experience of working within the international fashion arena. You will hold Phd in either a Business Management, Finance subject or MA / MSc related to Fashion, have industry contacts and vision to build the course and develop new opportunities in the discipline. Our ideal candidate will also have the ability to undertake research and knowledge exchange activity and contribute to publishing the findings in internationally recognised journals.
