The role

We are seeking to appoint a Programme Director to lead, develop and manage our portfolio of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Fashion, ensuring that their direction, design and curriculum are fully aligned with Ravensbourne’s Strategy and Academic Plan, that they are innovative and responsive to industry needs and that agreed key performance indicators are met, embedding principles of equality, diversity and inclusion.

The role will assume operational oversight of all aspects of course management and delivery including budgeting and resourcing, student recruitment/progression, timetabling, learning and teaching, academic quality, assessment, learner feedback, and staff recruitment, management, workload planning and development.

The candidate

The ideal candidate will possess experience of working in one or more areas within the design and media industries, with sound knowledge of marketing management and business planning processes together with a strong track record of delivering in a higher education leadership role.

An ability to lead and manage operational course delivery is essential, as are excellent team leadership and project management skills.
