The Role
At Ravensbourne we’re looking for a creative lecturer who understands the technical pipeline for developing games.
It’s an exciting time to join Ravensbourne we have a vibrant and growing portfolio of business, computing and gaming programmes and we’re developing some exciting new games programmes in games art and games design.
Our Games degrees are at a critical stage of development, you will have the opportunity to help bring to life our vision for students to place making and experimentation at the centre of their learning.
The portfolio of courses in games which include degrees in Games Design, Games Development, Games Art and Games Programming.
The courses are designed to enable students to explore the fundamentals of games creation and utilise state-of-the-art technologies to build intricate games worlds and convincing characters.
We are a fast-paced university, where creative worlds collide with business. This is a rare opportunity to develop your professional academic career in an agile environment.
The Candidate
You have experience of using software including:
• Autodesk Maya
• Z-brush
• Unreal Engine
• Unity
• Adobe Suite
You have used programming languages including C++ or C#
Aptitude and desire to continually develop industry, subject and pedagogic skills will be a core asset.
