The role 

We are currently looking for a Technician to join our Atelier team. This role is the first port of call for all users of the Atelier who require technical support, guidance and advice.

The post holder will take ownership of their technical space to ensure that it is maintained to a high standard. They will strive to provide technical facilities that are functional, accessible and well presented.

They will be responsible for the safe operation of technical resources and spaces, the delivery of health and safety inductions, ensuring health and safety compliance and that best working practices are at the core of their technical area. 

This is a part time role working between 22.5 and 27 hours a week across 28 weeks of the year on weekday evenings and Saturdays.

The candidate

The ideal candidate has strong experience working within a fashion atelier, with a strong knowledge of tailoring.

They will have a background in day-to-day support of an atelier: setting up, troubleshooting and aiding others to use a range of equipment.

They will have up-to-date health and safety knowledge in relation to atelier spaces and will be well versed in assessing risks, improving safety and ensuring best practices at all times.
