The Role

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our PMO team on a 6month fixed term basis.

The role requires an experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of high-profile, high-risk strategic project within a complex higher education environment.

Reporting to the Head of Strategic Delivery and working closely with members of the Executive team, you will ensure robust governance, effective stakeholder engagement, and delivery to time, cost, and scope. You will operate at pace, managing risks, resolving issues, and influencing at executive level to enable informed decision-making.

Strong expertise in managing risk, governance, and assurance 

Demonstrable ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams

The role requires 

• Proven track record of operating at senior project management level within portfolio or transformation environments
• Experience working in large, complex organisations (e.g. higher education, public sector, healthcare, or regulated environments)
• Demonstrable experience of leading cross-functional, multi-disciplinary projects and programmes
• Strong experience of establishing project governance, board reporting, and executive engagement
