This is a hybrid role based at our SE London campus. &nbsp;</p><p>The Senior IT Solutions Specialist will support, manage and develop Ravensbourne&rsquo;s desktop and mobile computing devices and labs, including Windows and Apple Mac environments, as well as key desktop and enterprise software platforms.&nbsp;</p><p>The role will help develop custom solutions using new and emerging technologies to empower and transform the organisation&rsquo;s digital capabilities, including the digitisation of processes and workflows.&nbsp;</p><p>The Senior IT Solutions Specialist will act as a senior engineering lead for Microsoft client devices and communications, implementing and maintaining the operational aspects of the University&rsquo;s Microsoft endpoint infrastructure in alignment with architectural design and strategy, and working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider IT Services team.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>About You</strong>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Essential Skills and Experience</strong></p><ul type="disc"><li>Suitably qualified and/or experienced in delivering technical support in a medium or large organisation.</li></ul><ul><li>Experienced in delivering and supporting services in a mixed Windows and Apple Mac environment.</li><li>Experienced in Microsoft Entra administration and Microsoft Intune, particularly device administration, application deployment and build management.</li><li>Able to understand, support and improve IT technology services in a complex organisational environment.</li><li>Able to communicate technical information clearly to colleagues, customers and service users at all levels, including through face-to-face support.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Desirable Skills and Experience</strong></p><ul type="disc"><li>Experience of communicating information relating to IT projects clearly and effectively.</li><li>Familiarity with the operation, support and development of IT technology in an education environment.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul type="disc"><li>Administer Microsoft Endpoint Manager/Intune, supporting managed Windows and Apple Mac devices.</li></ul><ul><li>Act as a senior technical escalation point for complex endpoint, software and infrastructure issues.</li><li>Package, deploy and maintain academic and professional services applications through the Company Portal.</li><li>Develop device compliance and security reporting to support cyber security, governance and service improvement.</li><li>Support Microsoft 365 administration, including provisioning, configuration, security and licensing.</li><li>Manage and support specialist endpoint-related hardware, including laptop lockers and digital signage displays.</li><li>Support asset management for end-user devices.</li><li>Develop workflow automation and PowerApps solutions to improve business processes.</li><li>Create documentation, training resources and guidance for IT Services colleagues and end users.</li><li>Carry out testing of new technologies, products and service improvements.<strong>&nbsp;</strong></li></ul><p><strong>Why join us?</strong></p><p>This is an opportunity to play a key role in a creative, collaborative and forward-thinking university environment, helping to deliver modern IT services that directly support the staff and student experience.</p><p>You will contribute to the ongoing development of endpoint management, automation, cyber security compliance and digital transformation, with the scope to improve services, introduce new solutions and make a visible impact across the University.</p><p>The role also offers the chance to work closely with colleagues across IT Services and the wider University, combining technical expertise with problem solving, service improvement and meaningful collaboration.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>We Offer</strong></p><ul type="disc"><li>Generous leave</li><li>We operate a hybrid working model of on-site and working from home for most of our posts</li><li>Competitive Pension Scheme</li><li>An Employee Assistance programme</li><li>A cycle-to-work scheme&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Interviews</strong>: week commencing 17th August 2026</p><p><br></p>
