The Role

We are looking for a Kit Store Assistant to join our team.

The role requires someone with experience in operating and maintaining digital media equipment, including - but not limited to - cameras, lenses, lighting, and audio.

In this role you will be responsible for the prep, delivery, and collection of resources for teaching; dealing with staff and students enquiries, collections, and returns; working closely with the Kit Store Manager to maintain the equipment database, as well as ensuring all equipment is in complete and working order.

We are looking for a team player, who can deliver excellent customer service, and is knowledgeable in the usage and operation of the aforementioned digital media equipment.

The role will be required to work a variable work pattern in accordance with the agreed opening hours of the Kit Store, normally to start no earlier than 7.00am and to finish no later than 7.00pm, with usual operating hours being 8.00am – 6.00pm. There may be a requirement for the Kit Store to open at weekends to support short course delivery and other activities, e.g., Open Days and shows.

The Candidate

You must be an excellent communicator who has an up to date knowledge of digital media equipment,  and is able to deliver excellent customer services whilst working in a fast-paced environment.
