The Role

Ravensbourne University has experienced significant growth over the past three years and has plans for continued expansion over the next five years. As a result, we are looking for a skilled Management Accountant to join our finance team.

Reporting to the Senior Management Accountant within the Finance Directorate, you will play a crucial role in managing a diverse portfolio of budget holders, covering both academic and professional services areas.

Working within the Management Accounts team you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the management accounting function, including monthly reporting, budgeting and forecasting processes for your portfolio.

You will also be responsible for managing the staff establishment budget, partnering with People and Culture and budget holders to ensure an accurate forecast position.

To succeed in this position, you should have experience in preparing clear and understandable financial information, with a focus on responsiveness and collaboration with budget holders. A track record of improvements in financial reporting processes and a clear understanding of best practices in financial management will be highly valued. The ability to communicate effectively and adapt in a fast-paced environment is essential.

Hybrid working with one day per week in the office in our state of the art offices in North Greenwich.
