The role 

We are looking for a Content  and Discovery Librarian to oversee the selection, acquisition and discovery of the Library’s print and online collections and associated content delivery services at an exciting time of growth and development for Ravensbourne and the Library. You will coordinate the provision of resources to ensure high-value, relevant and accessible information is available to students and staff at the point of need. This includes acquisitions, cataloguing, supplier engagement, academic liaison and content systems administration.

The candidate 

Our ideal candidate will have experience of professional collection development work within an academic or specialised library at a supervisory level. You will be a skilled communicator who can build productive internal and external working relationships and inspire teams. We are looking for someone who has excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills with a commitment to continuous improvement and a positive approach to change. Experience of discovery search administration, digitisation services and copyright support will be an advantage.
